Who is responsible

This website is run by Prasanth Janardhanan, who is developing Cotejado and lives in India. For any question about your data: prasanth@cotejado.com.

What is collected

Contact form: name, work email, company, your role (importer, brand and so on) and the message.

Emails you send us: your address and the content of the message.

Server logs: IP address, browser, pages requested and time. The web server creates them when it serves any page.

Why, and on what legal basis

Form and email details are used only to reply to you and talk with you about Cotejado. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).

Server logs are used to keep the site running and protect it from abuse. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in a secure site (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).

No data is sold or passed on to anyone, and none is used for advertising.

Who else handles the data

Ratufa.io stores contact form submissions, in the United States.

The website hosting provider, in the United States, holds the server logs.

Email for cotejado.com is hosted at Migadu and read and sent through Gmail (Google).

The person responsible lives in India, so the data is also accessed from there.

How long it is kept

Form messages and emails are kept for up to 12 months after the last contact, unless they lead to a business relationship.

Server logs are kept only as long as needed to run and protect the site.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or portability, or object to the processing. Write to prasanth@cotejado.com.

If you think your data has not been handled properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency, AEPD (www.aepd.es), or the authority in your own country.
